Yamaha introduces limited edition 2-stroke 125ZR Movistar
Yamaha Malaysia has just launched the special edition 125ZR Movistar, with a production quantity of only 5,000 vehicles.
In Southeast Asia, the Yamaha 125ZR is one of the few 2-stroke models that are still in production and are well received by a large number of users. This model has such a strange appeal that many users in Vietnam are willing to spend hundreds of millions of VND to buy this 2-stroke model from private dealers.

Similar to many other products painted in Yamaha's MotoGP green, the new 125ZR adds a Movistar version in Malaysia, with a production quantity of only 5,000 units. Compared to the regular versions, the paint color and decals are the only differences, while the vehicle's design remains the same.
In addition, each 125ZR Movistar 2017 also has a small black badge, engraved with the production number in gold letters, located right above the left turn signal. In Malaysia, the price of this model has not been announced, while the regular version costs from about 41 million VND.
Yamaha 125ZR Movistar 2017 still uses a 2-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, 124.3 cc capacity, maximum capacity of 13 kW at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 18.1 Nm at 7,500 rpm, 6-speed manual transmission. Safety equipment for the vehicle is a disc brake system on both wheels.
Launched in 1998, Yamaha 125ZR is trusted by many customers in Europe, but the vehicle sells best in Southeast Asia, especially Malaysia and Singapore.
