(Baonghean.vn) - The two villages of Nam Khien 1 and Nam Khien 2 (Nam Can commune – Ky Son district) are located more than 5 km from the commune center. Surrounded by hills and mountains, they are truly considered a valley within Nam Can commune.
Nam Can commune currently has 7 villages, of which Nam Khien 1 and Nam Khien 2 are separate. Previously, these two villages were one, but later separated. To reach Nam Khien, one must travel along steep, slippery roads with countless buffalo ruts. However, what is quite special about this cluster of 125 households with over 1000 inhabitants is that the people live a peaceful life and still preserve many traditional customs of the Mong ethnic group.
