Yen Thanh: 100 athletes participate in the Front Badminton Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 10, the Fatherland Front of Yen Thanh district organized the opening ceremony of the 2015 Front Badminton Tournament.

The tournament had more than 100 athletes who were members and front officials from 39 communes and towns, competing in 3 categories: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles in a knockout format in 6 clusters to select the best teams in each category to enter the finals.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, matches took place in the clusters, with beautiful and exciting plays, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam United Front and the National Great Unity Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2015), and to welcome the 18th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
