At Dong Thanh commune, Thanh Nam Company Limited is submitting procedures to reclaim land for leveling and planning material yards by paying taxes and fees such as mineral exploitation rights fees, environmental protection fees, etc.
Mr. Nguyen Duc An - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Yen Thanh district added:The demand for land leveling for construction projects is very large, so in some localities of Yen Thanh, there has been a situation of small-scale illegal land exploitation.
Since the beginning of 2021, Yen Thanh district has established an inspection team and fined 135 million VND for illegal land exploitation in My Thanh and Kim Thanh communes. However, the management of illegal land exploitation has not been thoroughly implemented. Because when the inspection team withdrew, the subjects secretly exploited illegally.
Authorities need to create conditions to remove difficulties so that Yen Thanh district can soon have a license to exploit soil mines to meet the demand for land use for construction projects in the area, avoiding illegal land exploitation.
