Yen Thanh: Changes in social insurance and health insurance work thanks to Resolution 21 of the Politburo
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing Resolution 21-NQ/TW in Yen Thanh district, social insurance and health insurance work has developed quite extensively, bringing practical results.

Implementing Plan No. 66-KH/TU dated April 24, 2017 of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, on the morning of July 5, Yen Thanh District Party Committee held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated November 22, 2012 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over Social Insurance and Health Insurance for the period 2012 - 2020.
Delegates listened to the summary report, discussed and evaluated the leadership, direction and implementation of the resolution in the district; especially the implementation of 7 goals, 4 tasks, solutions and achieved results, difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved.

After 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the district, the rate of participation in social insurance and health insurance has increased: as of May 31, 2017, the whole district had 9,381 people participating in social insurance, an increase of 1,452 people compared to 2012 (an increase of 18.31%); 197,181 people participating in health insurance, exceeding 2.56% compared to the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2017.
Nearly poor people, pupils and students participate annually at over 90%; especially farmers participating in family health insurance is increasing. In 2012, only 2,270 people participated in family health insurance, but now there are 27,446 people participating, an increase of 209%.
Implementing Resolution 21-NQ/TW in Yen Thanh district, social insurance and health insurance work has developed quite extensively, bringing practical results.
Party committees at all levels, authorities, unions, associations, cadres, party members, people of all walks of life, and workers have a deeper awareness of social insurance and health insurance work.
Departments, branches and organizations have closely coordinated in mobilizing the combined strength of the whole society to do social insurance and health insurance work. The number of participants in social insurance and health insurance is increasing; the rights of participants in social insurance and health insurance are increasingly guaranteed, contributing significantly to stabilizing the lives of workers and people and promoting the effectiveness of the Party and State's policies in stabilizing and developing the local socio-economic situation.
The conference also pointed out the current status of social insurance and health insurance work in the district, identified the achieved results to continue promoting, and the limitations and difficulties to identify solutions for better implementation in the coming time./.
