Yen Thanh: Enforced tax debt collection of 18 transportation business households

(Baonghean.vn) - The interdisciplinary delegation of Yen Thanh district has just organized acoercionfor 18 householdstransport businessThere is over 200 million VND in tax arrears in the two communes of Hau Thanh and Son Thanh.

Hau Thanh and Son Thanh communes have 18 vehicles, with a debt of over 240 million VND, of which the tax debt that must be enforced is over 200 million VND.

Despite repeated propaganda, mobilization, debt notices and debt collection measures, households continue to deliberately delay and fail to fulfill their obligations to pay the state budget. Therefore, the Steering Committee for preventing tax losses and arrears of Yen Thanh district has coordinated with two local authorities to organize the implementation of measures to enforce tax administrative decisions.

At households, the interdisciplinary team also propagated and mobilized households to fulfill their tax obligations, analyzed and showed a resolute attitude to enforce by seizing assets such as vehicles, so most households complied with paying tax arrears, late payment fees and enforcement fees.

In just two days of operation (August 16 and 17), over 150 million VND in tax debt was recovered, and there were no cases of vehicles being temporarily seized.

For some households that intentionally dispersed assets, moved vehicles out of the locality, and refused to cooperate in fulfilling their tax debt payment obligations, the interdisciplinary team drew up a record, gave opinions, and sent them to the authorities to carry out the necessary procedures for handling according to the provisions of law.

This is the second phase after the successful enforcement of tax debt collection reaching 100% in Dong Thanh commune to collect tax debts of 300 transport business owners with outstanding tax debts of up to nearly 6 billion VND.

From now until the end of the year, if households still procrastinate and deliberately do not fulfill their tax obligations, Yen Thanh will continue to organize enforcement in each locality, in order to increase revenue for the state budget and ensure fairness in business./.
