Yen Thanh meets with former senior military officers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 19, the Senior Officers Liaison Committee of Yen Thanh district held a meeting and discussion to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2015).

Attending were representatives of the district Party Committee, District People's Committee and 44/124 former senior officers in the area.

The delegates reviewed together the glorious historical tradition through 71 years of fighting, building and growing of the Vietnam People's Army as well as the contributions of members of the District Senior Former Officers Liaison Committee in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Over the years, members of the Liaison Committee of Former Senior Officers of Yen Thanh District have always maintained and promoted the nature and revolutionary tradition, pioneered patriotic emulation movements in the locality; actively participated in building a strong political base, building cultural life in residential areas... contributing to promoting socio-economic development and building new rural areas.
