Yen Thanh: Two children drowned.

(Baonghean.vn) - The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 AM on June 19th at Khe Bai dam, Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province), resulting in the deaths of two young children.

While herding cattle, Bach Tuan Anh (born in 2005, son of Bach Tuan Ngoc) and Bach Tuan Chau (born in 2008, son of Bach Tuan Phi), both from Thanh Da hamlet, Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province), went down to Khe Bai dam to swim.

While bathing, the two children slipped and fell into deep water and drowned. Immediately after the incident, local authorities, along with relevant agencies and neighbors, rushed to the scene to search for the children's bodies.

After extensive search efforts, the bodies of the two children were recovered. Local authorities have now handed over the bodies to their families for burial according to local customs.
