Yen Thanh: Celebrating 72 years of taking power

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 25, Yen Thanh district held a ceremony to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the August Revolution - National Day September 2 and the day Yen Thanh people took power August 25, 1945 - August 25, 2017.

August 25, 1945 has gone down in the history of Yen Thanh district as a brilliant milestone, symbolizing the revolutionary spirit of the homeland.

72 years ago, along with the general revolutionary spirit of the whole country, tens of thousands of Yen Thanh people from all communes and villages rose up to seize power from the colonialists and feudalists, and established a provisional revolutionary committee.
