(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 29th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Secretary of the District Party Committee, the Yen Thanh District Party Committee held a conference to summarize Party building work in 2014 and implement tasks for 2015. Attending the conference was Comrade Le Ba Hung - Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Certificates of commendation were awarded to Party committees that achieved outstanding performance in maintaining integrity and strength.

From the beginning of 2014 until now, despite some difficulties due to the continued implementation of the government's policy of tightening public investment, epidemics, and unfavorable weather conditions, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the management and administration of the government, the coordination of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels, and the efforts and endeavors of the people, the economy of Yen Thanh district has continued to develop, and culture and society have seen many positive changes...

Economic growth reached 13%; national health programs were implemented effectively, with a greater focus on medical examination and treatment; poverty reduction, job creation, and social security issues were given due attention. The New Rural Development program continued to be promoted, with the addition of Son Thanh commune to five more communes now recognized as meeting the standards. Party building and the political system received focused leadership and guidance, resulting in positive changes.
