In the Spring crop of 2015, Yen Thanh District People's Committee continues to implement policies to support production development. According to the plan, in the Spring crop of 2015, Yen Thanh District strives for a total cultivated area of ​​13,570 hectares, of which rice is 12,700 hectares, the rest are other crops, striving to achieve a total output of 94,878 tons, of which rice output is 91,050 tons. Orientation of intensive cultivation area structure mainly for rice varieties such as AC5, Khai Phong No. 1, Nhi Uu 986, GS9... and continue to test and produce bait varieties of Van Quang 14, Vinh Hoa Thien Uu 8 Herbal Rice... In addition, in association with Vinh Hoa Company Limited, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Company, organizes joint production of large fields of Vinh Hoa Herbal Rice varieties and red rice. Regarding the season for rice, based on the growth period of each variety, arrange to sow rice seedlings from January 5 to 30, 2015.
