Yen Trang became "Dancing Queen" 2013 |
The final night of “Dancing with the Stars” 2013 took place on the evening of May 25th and brought the atmosphere of a competition night that was truly a performance. All three couples, Yen Trang – Tisho, Lan Phuong – Valeri, Ngo Kien Huy – Victoria, all had attractive and captivating performances.
Yen Trang maintained her form throughout the program. Learning from the comments of the judges, in the final night, Yen Trang minimized the staging with many dancers and focused on the dance of two people. In the first round, Yen Trang and her dance partner choreographed the song "Biet gn chi Vo Thi Sau" and once again she succeeded with hard-toed shoes. In the second round, Yen Trang and Tisho had a breakthrough when performing "contemporary dance" on Japanese music with an impressive staging of 2 colors red and black. Yen Trang's victory in "Dancing with the Stars" 2013 seemed to have been predicted from the beginning, she was almost considered the "most promising candidate". Along with the first prize, Yen Trang also won the supporting prize for Most Favorite Couple.
The final night also witnessed Lan Phuong's spectacular breakthrough. Lan Phuong's first performance was not too impressive, but in the second performance with a freestyle dance, she completely conquered the judges. With a few short minutes on stage, Lan Phuong staged a performance that moved all the judges and many television viewers when telling the story of a person's life from childhood, adulthood, to illness. Above all, the performance was also highly expressive when the audience felt her love for the performance and the message she sent in the dance: with love, people will overcome all the suffering of life. With this performance, Lan Phuong was the only contestant of the final night to receive an absolute score - 40 points.

Lan Phuong had an emotional and uplifting performance, but she did not have the advantage of an audience, so she won third place. |
Only 1 point behind Yen Trang (the judges' score) but without the advantage of the audience because Ngo Kien Huy and Yen Trang are both entertainers with a large fan base, Lan Phuong won 3rd place overall. This is a result that many people feel sorry for her.
Ngo Kien Huy also surprisingly won 2 awards, the Silver Award and the Most Creative Performance Award. Although not the one with the best performing techniques, Ngo Kien Huy has the skills of an entertainer, always knowing how to stir up the stage with unexpected arrangements. In the first performance with the Jive dance, Ngo Kien Huy - Victoria played the role of an old couple who loved to dance, bringing a cheerful atmosphere to the stage. This helped Ngo Kien Huy always maintain a stable fan base and enthusiastically vote for him.
Thus, the 4th season of “Dancing with the Stars” 2013 ended with many flavors and the final victory belonged to Yen Trang – Tisho. Along with the main awards given to 3 couples, the Organizing Committee also awarded 4 secondary awards: Ngoc Quyen – Daniel won the Most Impressive Couple Award; Ho Vinh Khoa – Anna won the Most Compatible Couple Award; Yen Trang – Tisho won the Most Favorite Couple Award; Ngo Kien Huy – Victoria won the Most Creative Performing Couple Award.
