To proactively prevent and respond to the complicated developments of storm No. 10, on September 13, Nghe An Department of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 2259 on actively preparing to respond to storm No. 10.
The content of the document clearly states: Requiring directors of public and non-public medical facilities to fully implement the 2017 flood and storm prevention and search and rescue plan of the health sector and the unit.
Medical facilities organize 24/7 emergency response teams, ready to receive and provide free emergency care to victims of floods. Mobile emergency response teams are always ready to respond to lower levels when ordered. Provincial units prepare medicines, chemicals, equipment, vehicles and assign mobile teams to be on duty 24/7, ready to support localities in overcoming the consequences of floods.

Low-lying areas at risk of flooding and storms must have proactive evacuation plans to ensure patient safety and continue to carry out medical examination, treatment and emergency care for patients. Mountainous district health centers direct commune health stations in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods and flash floods to advise the commune People's Committee to prepare facilities, medicines and human resources to be ready to mobilize to serve the people.
