Accordingly, the Minister requested to strengthen management, operation and price stabilization in localities; closely monitor supply and demand developments and market prices before, during and after Tet, especially for goods and services that directly meet people's Tet consumption needs.

The Minister also requested to stabilize the market and prices in accordance with the actual situation of the locality, to prevent shortages, speculation, hoarding, and spreading false information that causes sudden and local price increases. The inspection and supervision of compliance with legal regulations on price management, taxes, fees, and charges will be strengthened, especially for essential consumer goods and services such as clean water for daily life, food, milk for children under 6 years old, medicine for disease prevention and treatment, LPG gas, etc.
