Requirements to improve quality and efficiency in front work

Affirming that the Party and Government have set out many guidelines and policies for the Vietnam Fatherland Front to effectively perform its functions, tasks, and emulation movements and campaigns, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man also set out many important and new tasks in the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and in organizing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In particular, 2018 is the last year to implement the resolution of the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels, term 2014 - 2019, to prepare for the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019 - 2024 in 2019.

This is also the year to continue implementing Resolution No. 39/NQ-TW of the Politburo on streamlining the payroll and restructuring the contingent of cadres, civil servants and public employees and Resolution No. 18/NQ-TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

Comrade Tran Thanh Man emphasized: With a special year and many new and key tasks, organizing a training conference is extremely important to provide the front cadres at all levels with basic issues and new issues, issues that continue to be implemented with higher quality and efficiency requirements.

Therefore, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front are required to present topics in an easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, and easy-to-implement manner; students need to take them seriously, and unclear issues can be discussed directly and frankly at the conference.

After this training conference, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will preside over the opening of training courses according to the annual plan, and request the provinces to send cadres to attend the training courses fully, ensuring that the work of the front and the patriotic emulation movement and campaigns are increasingly effective and substantive.

Accordingly, the training conference will take place in 1 day, and the trainees will receive 8 important topics. These are the orientations of the Front's work and the implementation of key tasks of democracy - law, movement work, propaganda work, foreign affairs - overseas Vietnamese in 2018; guidance on organizing the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019 - 2024; guidance on the preliminary review of the implementation of Conclusion No. 01/KL-DCT, dated August 20, 2015 of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in ethnic work; innovation in the content and methods of mobilizing, gathering, and uniting religions associated with the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion.

The conference also devoted time to discussion to exchange, answer and resolve practical issues that arise.
