“We cannot wait. We have two wars – a war with Russia and a fight against corruption in the country, which is a threat, first of all, to the economy of Ukraine,” Zelensky was quoted as saying by the press service of the President of Ukraine.
Speaking about the irregular parliamentary elections, Mr Zelensky said: “If this parliament, which is now non-functioning, had continued to exist, we would have formed a government in December. We could not wait any longer.”
It should be noted that the meeting discussed the situation in Donbass, the ceasefire and the exchange of prisoners.
