Zidane vows to bring attacking football back to Madrid
Real Madrid's new coach held his first press conference on the evening of January 5, setting the goal of winning every possible title this season.
"I want to bring the exciting football that the club has always had, with attack as the main focus. Our goal is always to win. Real Madrid still have two competitions to win the Cup and the whole team will try to complete the goal by the end of the season," the 43-year-old coach affirmed. "I will always use the attacking trio BBC (Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo). This is a very clear idea."

How Real will change under Zinedine Zidane is something that many people are interested in. The former player did not hesitate to share about the difference between him and his predecessor Rafa Benitez: "I will try to have a better personal relationship with the players. They need close attention. I will still keep my coaching style, trying to make the players feel comfortable on the field. I do not want to compare with other coaches. What I need to do is become the type of coach I want. It has to be Zidane".
Zidane said he has a two-and-a-half-year contract with Real, but he has not discussed a contract with the board for a first-team coach. The Frenchman will use the coaching staff he has worked with at the Castilla youth team.
The former French player also revealed that he was only offered the job on January 5 and immediately agreed.
"I'm feeling very good, full of motivation. This is a huge challenge, but I'm ready. The only thing I want is to win the title with this team," Zidane confidently said.
