Within 21 months of taking charge of Real, Zidane led the club to seven trophies including two consecutive Champions League titles, one La Liga, one Spanish Super Cup, two European Super Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.
This achievement helps the French strategist surpass his two predecessors who have led Real more than 100 matches recently, Ancelotti and Mourinho. Ancelotti won four titles after two seasons leading Real. Meanwhile, Mourinho only stepped on the highest podium with Real three times in three seasons.
Real Madrid have won 74, drawn 17 and lost eight of Zidane's first 99 games. They have scored 271 goals and conceded 100.
Ancelotti had 78 wins but lost 12 of his first 100 games. Under the Italian, Real scored 272 goals and conceded just 80.
Mourinho had 77 wins and 10 losses in his first 100 games but had a superior goal difference. Real Madrid scored 274 goals under Mourinho and conceded only 71.
Zidane's number of titles won after 100 matches also surpassed Guardiola, the most successful coach in Barca's history. Guardiola needed until his 121st match leading Barca to taste his seventh title, the 2009-2010 La Liga championship.
