1,000 Vinh University students volunteer
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 30, the Standing Committee of Vinh University Youth Union held the launching ceremony of the 2013 Summer Volunteer Campaign. Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Student Dinh Xuan Khoa - Principal of the school, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, and more than 1,000 volunteer students of Vinh University.

With the theme "Youth participate in building urban civilization and rural culture" and the motto "each youth has a volunteer job, each Youth Union organization has a practical project to participate in building urban civilization and rural culture", this year's summer volunteer campaign has attracted more than 1,000 students to participate in 38 projects such as: "Supporting exam season - 2103" program, Popularizing online information technology in Tan Ky district, summer teaching and organizing activities at SOS Children's Village Vinh, organizing Vietnamese language teaching, cultural exchange for international students studying at the school...
Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Student Dinh Xuan Khoa presented the traditional flag of the School's volunteer movement to the volunteer soldiers.
This year in particular, the international SVTN team will operate in the Lao PDR, including both Vietnamese SVTN and Lao students, organizing Vietnamese language teaching, cultural and artistic exchanges; and providing consulting support for Lao students wishing to enroll at Vinh University.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor Dinh Xuan Khoa believed that the students would achieve many good results in this year's summer volunteer campaign, and hoped that SVTN would promote all their capacity, intelligence, and enthusiasm of youth so that the 2013 summer volunteer campaign would achieve good results.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the student volunteers carried their backpacks and set off on their mission.
