1,000 tons of rice to support hunger relief for families affected by floods
(Baonghean) - On October 29, 2012, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 4251/QD-UBND to allocate 1,000 tons of famine relief rice issued by the General Department of State Reserves - Ministry of Finance from the State Reserves Department of Nghe An region to the People's Committees of the districts: Anh Son, Hung Nguyen, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Nghia Dan, Nghi Loc to support families affected by the flood in September 2012.
(Baonghean) - On October 29, 2012, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 4251/QD-UBND to allocate 1,000 tons of famine relief rice issued by the General Department of State Reserves - Ministry of Finance from the State Reserves Department of Nghe An region to the People's Committees of the districts: Anh Son, Hung Nguyen, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Nghia Dan, Nghi Loc to support families affected by the flood in September 2012.
Accordingly, Do Luong district was supported with 230 tons, Hung Nguyen 196 tons, Quynh Luu 220 tons, Yen Thanh 140 tons, Anh Son 104 tons, Nghi Loc 55 tons, Nghia Dan 37 tons, Dien Chau 18 tons. The decision also assigned the chairmen of the district People's Committees to be directly responsible for directing and inspecting the reception and provision of rice to households facing hunger in communes and towns to ensure timely, correct subjects, correct policies and to complete the provision of rice to households before November 15, 2012.
