1,000 children from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa enjoy the 2016 Mid-Autumn Festival

(Baonghean.vn) – On the evening of September 11, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Hoa Sen Group and Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper to organize the program "Warm Vietnamese Family - Mid-Autumn Festival 2016".

Attending the gala night, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Minh Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; 1,000 children from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.

This is the first time the program “Vietnamese Family Home - Mid-Autumn Festival” has been held in Nghe An. The program aims to exchange and connect children in special circumstances (children in SOS villages, protection centers, schools for disabled children, poor students overcoming difficulties) in the two provinces of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa.

Within the framework of the program, on the afternoon of September 11, 1,000 children participated in many folk games and received meaningful Mid-Autumn gifts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee warmly welcomed and thanked the delegates, sponsors, volunteers and a large number of children and teenagers who attended the program; sent the children the warmest feelings and praised them for their efforts and progress in their studies.
