According to initial information, the murder occurred on the morning of June 17 at a house on Hoang Mai Street, Hoang Liet Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi, causing the death of a pregnant woman.

A source said the victim had a husband from Thanh Hoa, had two children and was now divorced. The suspect was also divorced.
According to some locals, a few years ago, the woman had feelings for the suspect but his family did not agree.
“This woman sells goods right in the alley and still lives with him. After the conflict, the victim left for a while,” said a local resident.

According to neighbors, about 3 days ago, the man found the victim and returned home. On the morning of June 17, the suspect suddenly went to meet his neighbors and asked them to call the police to surrender.
Immediately after discovering the incident, people reported the incident to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene, the victim was confirmed dead in the attic, then transferred to the hospital, and the suspect was arrested shortly thereafter.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
