During filming in Quang Binh, chefs worked continuously from late at night until the next evening to ensure enough meals for the Hollywood crew members.

On the morning of February 24, the film crew of Kong: Skull Island filmed at the second studio in the Chuot Cave area in Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh). The convoy of vehicles carrying equipment has gathered at the Hang Chuot area to serve the filming since yesterday evening. The rain became heavier but did not delay the crew's work.

A large tent was set up to serve meals to the film crew. Dozens of container trucks and passenger cars were gathered outside. Inside a small tent in the studio area, five Vietnamese chefs prepared meals for the film crew. One chef said work started at 1am and lasted until 8pm the next day.

“We prepare 800 meals a day, including breakfast at 6am and lunch at 12pm. The food is imported from Hanoi, ensuring hygiene and freshness,” said the chef.

Next to it, three foreign chefs and a few assistants prepare Western-style meals on a container truck. The meals are served buffet-style, with seven Vietnamese and seven Western dishes. A Vietnamese chef who has worked in the US for 25 years said that meal preparation must be on time. “They think the meal must be ready. If there is any problem, it is their fault,” the chef shared.

The activities of the Hollywood crew continue to attract the attention of local people and the Vietnamese media.

At the end of village 3, the film crew built a new gravel road, about 3km long, to serve the crew's specialized vehicles. From this location, strangers are not allowed to approach the filming area. Only the villagers are still allowed to go in and out to farm normally.

Next to the newly built gravel road leading to the studio is the winding Khe Chuot stream, surrounded by many large, majestic limestone mountains. This scene was surveyed by the director and evaluated as suitable for the romantic prehistoric scenes of the film.

At around 6am this morning, the film crew moved from Phong Nha to Hang Chuot and started filming at around 7am. Several props, including many types of rifles, were prepared by the staff for the filming scenes.
