10 places bearing the mark of President Ho Chi Minh

1.Làng Sen - Quê nội Bác Hồ:
Sen Village is called Kim Lien (Golden Lotus). Behind the green bamboo hedge is a simple, rustic 5-room thatched house of the family of the Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, the father of President Ho Chi Minh. In the Tan Suu (1901) examination, Nguyen Sinh Sac passed the Vice-Chancellor exam. Following local customs and the wishes of the villagers, he and his children left Chua Village (Hoang Tru) to live in his paternal hometown Sen Village. This house was built by the villagers of Sen Village with public funds to celebrate the Vice-Chancellor. All the trees in the garden were also planted by the villagers.

2. Hoang Tru Village - Uncle Ho's maternal hometown

Hoang Tru village is about 2 km from Kim Lien village, both in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province; about 15 km west of Vinh city. The Hoang Tru relic complex includes: the house of Mr. Hoang Duong and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kep - Uncle Ho's maternal grandparents; the Hoang Xuan branch's ancestral temple; and the house of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Uncle Ho's parents. The Hoang Tru relic complex is a complex of 7 sao in the Central region (about 3,500m2), bearing the mark of a Vietnamese village.

After 30 years of searching for a way to save the country and working abroad, on January 28, 1941, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc returned to the Fatherland through milestone 108. He chose Pac Bo as a place to live and work for the revolution during many years of 1941 - 1945. President Ho Chi Minh stayed at 48 Hang Ngang from August 25, 1945 to September 2, 1945. Here, he wrote the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the first People's Democratic State in Southeast Asia. This was a historical event of great significance, marking a step forward in the history of the Vietnamese nation.
Since 1970, the house at 48 Hang Ngang has been dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh. In 1979, the house was ranked as a national historical site by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
Currently, the house is preserving many simple images and memorabilia about Uncle Ho. The house at 48 Hang Ngang in Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, is located in the bustling old town, with a back door leading to 35 Hang Can street.

8. Uncle Ho's stilt house in Hanoi

9. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, also known as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum or Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, is where the body of President Ho Chi Minh is located. The mausoleum was inaugurated on August 29, 1975. The mausoleum consists of three layers with a height of 21.6 meters, the lower layer is shaped like a three-step staircase, the middle layer is the central structure of the mausoleum including the mortuary and corridors, stairs up and down. Around the four sides are rows of square marble columns, the top layer is the mausoleum roof in a three-step shape. On the main facade is the inscription: "President Ho Chi Minh" in ripe plum pink stone. In his will, Ho Chi Minh wanted to be cremated and have his ashes placed in three regions of the country. However, the Politburo of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, term III, with the reason "according to the wishes and feelings of the people", decided to preserve Ho Chi Minh's body for a long time so that later people across the country, especially people in the South, and international visitors can come to visit.
10. Ho Chi Minh Square in Nghe An
