10 months: Number of workers going to work abroad exceeds annual plan
The number of workers going to work abroad in the past 10 months exceeded the 2014 plan by 4.76% and was equal to 129.54% compared to the same period in 2013.

In October alone, this number was 7,774 workers, including 3,878 female workers, working in the markets of Taiwan (3,895 workers, including 2,379 female workers), Japan (1,784 workers with 830 female workers), Korea (962 workers including 56 female workers), Malaysia (295 workers with 101 female workers), Saudi Arabia (296 workers with 206 female workers), Macao (207 workers including 200 female workers) and other markets.

The Taiwanese market has consistently been the market that has received the most Vietnamese workers in recent years. In 2014, the total cost of going to Taiwan as regulated by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs was reduced from no more than 4,500 USD (in 2013) to no more than 4,000 USD/person and the cost of going to Taiwan will be considered to be gradually reduced each year to create favorable conditions for workers.
