10 months, trade surplus with Italy reached 709 million USD
It is estimated that the total import-export turnover between Vietnam and Italy for the whole year will reach 2,775 million USD. Of which, export is estimated to reach 1,815 million USD.

The Vietnam Trade Office in Türkiye cited data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs as saying that Vietnam's exports to Italy in the first 10 months of 2012 reached 1,511.4 million USD, an impressive increase of 24.2% compared to the 1,216.7 million USD in the same period in 2011. Imports from Italy reached 802 million USD, a decrease of 3.2% compared to the 827 million USD in the same period in 2011.
In the first 10 months, Vietnam had a trade surplus of 709 million USD with Italy.
According to the Trade Office's estimate, the total import-export turnover between Vietnam and Italy in 2012 will reach 2,775 million USD. Of which, exports are estimated to reach 1,815 million USD, up 18.3% and imports are estimated to reach 960 million USD, down 3.9% compared to 2011.
The main export items are phones and components accounting for 457 million USD; coffee; footwear of all kinds; seafood, textiles; machinery and equipment, and spare parts.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Türkiye said that compared to the same period in 2011, phones and components, and coffee increased sharply. However, seafood and footwear of all kinds decreased compared to 2011.
Vietnam imports mainly machinery, equipment, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals from Italy./.
