(Baonghean.vn) - That was the affirmation of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong at the opening session of the 5th meeting of the Provincial People's Council on the morning of February 18.
Before, during and after the 4th session, through the activities of voters and citizens of the Provincial People's Council delegates, through the online telephone line at the session and the people's petitions, the Provincial People's Council has compiled 164 opinions and recommendations.

Based on that synthesis, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council classified them into groups: new but urgent recommendations that need to be resolved immediately; repeated recommendations that need to be resolved; opinions that fall under the authority of the Central Government or require resources to implement. All 164 opinions and recommendations from voters were forwarded by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors for research and resolution.
Reporting on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before, during and after the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong affirmed: With a sense of responsibility towards the voters of the province, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches and sectors to research, receive, resolve and fully respond to 100% of the recommendations received. Through paying attention and doing well this work, the effectiveness and efficiency of State management of authorities at all levels will be gradually improved, the legitimate rights and interests of the people will be protected, favorable conditions will be created to promote socio-economic development, and political stability and social order and safety of the locality will be maintained.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong raised and clarified the settlement of some voters' petitions in the province. For example, regarding the petition to support the construction of 10 houses swept away by floods due to natural disasters in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Ky Son district People's Committee to select 2 locations and estimate the budget for site clearance and resettlement for households in Ta Ca commune that were swept away by floods; the funding for site clearance and resettlement will be taken from the Central budget to support storm No. 2 in 2017.

Regarding the reflection of voters of Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop) about National Highway 48 passing through the commune with many intersections and turns, frequent accidents due to lack of signs, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Transport to direct the Management Board of the Traffic Economic Career Capital Project and the road management unit to review and install additional signs, including 13 sets of signs in the section passing through Yen Hop commune.

Responding to the petition of Vinh City voters on the need to build a crematorium to save land and ensure the environment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong said: On August 17, 2017, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3762/QD-UBND approving the investment policy of the Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park Project (in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen District) for Phuc Lac Vien Company Limited - Hoan Vu Nghe An Cremation Center as the investor, with an area of about 85.0 hectares.
According to the orientation, Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen District is planned to be built to serve the burial of people in Vinh City and surrounding areas. The forms of burial at the ecological cemetery park include: cremation, burial, inhumation and one-time burial. Currently, the investor is implementing the next steps for investment and construction.

Regarding the proposal of voters of Hoang Mai town to inspect the Nghi Son Industrial Park installing 4 pipelines discharging waste directly into the sea, causing environmental pollution in the Dong Hoi area; the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to inspect, collect samples and conclude that it cannot be confirmed that the discharge of waste from the above 4 pipelines of Nghi Son Iron and Steel Company causes environmental pollution because all environmental monitoring parameters are within the permissible limits.
However, to promptly respond to and handle arising environmental issues, the Provincial People's Committee continues to assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to monitor developments and environmental monitoring in this area.
Regarding the petition of voters of Hamlet 3, Quynh Hoa Commune (Quynh Luu District) requesting the province to inspect the exemption of irrigation fees in the locality; The Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with the Department of Finance, Quynh Luu District People's Committee and Bac Irrigation Company Limited to review the implementation of irrigation fee exemption for canals in Quynh Hoa Commune. The inspection results show that the processes, procedures and subjects of irrigation fee exemption are implemented by Quynh Luu District People's Committee and Bac Irrigation Company Limited in accordance with current regulations.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also responded to the petition of voters of Bong Khe commune (Con Cuong district) requesting the Provincial People's Committee to speed up the transfer of land from Nghe An Tea Company to the district, ensuring the rights of the people.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to focus on directing Nghe An Tea Development Investment Company Limited to review land, set up landmarks, demarcate boundaries, measure cadastral maps and establish and appraise land use plans for arrangement and exchange according to Resolution No. 30/NQ-TW of the Politburo, Decree No. 118/2014/ND-CP dated December 17, 2014 of the Government and Circular No. 07/2015/TT-BTNMT dated February 26, 2015 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
