101 Nghe An students attend the National Excellent Student Competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2016-2017 school year, Nghe An had 101 students participating in the National Excellent Student Competition. All students were students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

The National Excellent Student Competition for the 2016-2017 school year will be held for 3 days, from January 5-7, 2017. Participating in this year's competition, Nghe An has 101 students in 11 subjects. These are all excellent students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted who have passed the qualifying rounds.

Nghe An Department of Education and Training awarded students who achieved national excellent student award in the 2015-2016 school year.

Of the 11 subjects, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Literature, History, Geography, and English each had 10 students taking the exam. Only Russian and French each had 5-6 students taking the exam.

Thus, this year, Nghe An's national student competition team has 2 fewer students than the previous competition. In the 2015-2016 National Excellent Student Competition, Nghe An was one of the localities with the best results with 85 students winning prizes, including 7 first prizes, 31 second prizes, 26 third prizes, and 21 consolation prizes./.
