Nghe An Public Security Force has promoted its leading, core and vanguard role in ensuring security and order, bringing a peaceful and happy life to the people; and is an important driving force to promote the economic and social development of the province.

During the past term, Nghe An Police has always been an exemplary unit, leading and pioneering in organizing, deploying, fully and effectively implementing the Directives, Resolutions, and Action Programs of the Politburo, Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, with strategic thinking and vision, it has proactively advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on nearly 300 major Resolutions, Projects, and Directives; thereby, mobilizing the strength of the political system to promptly "reduce, clean up, and pacify the area", creating a stable environment for socio-economic development.

With the motto of "Proactive security", "resolute in goals, flexible in strategies", the work of ensuring national security has been done well. The police force has proactively grasped the situation; advised and implemented many fundamental solutions to build many models, typical in the movement to protect national security; maintained security in specific areas, gradually reduced complexity; calmed the situation in key areas and fields. Thereby, contributing to making Nghe An a safe and reliable destination for investors and tourists and a place to organize important political, cultural and social events of the country and the province.

In the field of ensuring social order and safety, with prevention as the main focus, the police force has strictly managed each locality, field, and type of subject, thereby significantly reducing crimes violating social order each year. Continuously launching high-point campaigns to suppress crimes, determined to clean up the area. In particular, Nghe An Police is always assessed by the Ministry of Public Security as the leading locality in the country in fighting drug crimes (especially the Project "Border Communes Clean of Drugs" is a bright spot in the country).

At the same time, the Nghe An Provincial Police Party Committee has had many creative and breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of service to the people in the State management of security, order, administrative reform, national digital transformation and Project 06/CP (for 9 consecutive years, Nghe An Police has always been at the top of the Ministry of Public Security in the administrative reform index). Thereby, gradually building an orderly, disciplined, safe, healthy, modern society, trusted and supported by the Party Committee, government and people.

At the same time, the Provincial Police Party Committee always considers Party building and force building as the key central task. Be exemplary, take the lead in building a connected, synchronous, streamlined, effective and efficient organizational apparatus; focus on building police officers in Uncle Ho's homeland who are brave, humane, serve the people, and accompany the economic and social development of the province (3,553 houses have been built for the poor).

5 key solutions

The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is a particularly important milestone on the way to a new era, an era of national growth, in which ensuring security, order and building a stable society are identified as the foundation and driving force for development.

This is also the first term that the Party Committee and the government operate according to a two-level government system associated with national digital transformation and sustainable development; the province is promoting the implementation of many key socio-economic development projects. Therefore, many great responsibilities, urgent work, and large volumes of work require more drastic participation of the entire political system and greater efforts of the police force.

In order for Nghe An Police to effectively perform the task of socio-economic development in the new era, the Provincial Police Party Committee proposes 5 solutions:

One is,With the current basically peaceful situation, the Party Committee, government and police force have had and are having many favorable conditions to develop breakthroughs in the coming time; realizing the political determination to make Nghe An "become a national growth pole in the new era of development".

In particular, Colonel Tran Hong Quang emphasized 3 issues: Gathering the strength of the entire political system, in which the police force is the core to focus on synchronously and effectively implementing solutions to maintain political stability, "calming, reducing, and cleaning up the area"; clearing bottlenecks in socio-economic development projects and infrastructure serving development.

Party committees, authorities and police forces at all levels need to focus on doing a good job of mass mobilization work, promoting the building of a mass movement to protect national security, creating maximum conditions for people to participate in ensuring security and order in the direction of "self-prevention, self-management, self-protection".

Party committees and authorities at all levels should strengthen dialogue with the people, focus on advising and properly resolving the people's legitimate needs and aspirations right at the grassroots level, to bring peace to the area.

Two is, pioneering, taking the lead as the core in advising on the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws, the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring security and order. Proactively advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to issue strategic and effective Resolutions, Projects, and Programs; perfecting mechanisms, policies, and laws on security and order in the new era. Associated with ensuring the conditions and foundation to successfully carry out the political tasks set out in Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Third,Continue to advise and propose solutions to improve State management of security and order, perform well the role of the standing agency of Project 06; take the lead in administrative reform, be more creative and innovative in the speed of digital transformation, apply science and technology, innovate and modernize work areas, aiming to improve the quality of service to the people and create an open, ideal, modern and safe environment to attract investment for development.

Fourth,Continue to innovate measures and solutions to prevent all types of crimes and law violations to "reduce, clean up and bring peace" to the area. Resolutely attack, fight, suppress, strictly and legally handle all types of crimes, especially crimes that directly affect people's lives, bringing a peaceful and happy life to the people. Focus on building a "drug-free commune", eliminate key areas with complex social order, strive for Nghe An to finish before the whole country.

Five is,Propose that Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and sectors at all levels pay attention to leading, directing and coordinating with the police force to prioritize resources to build a regular, elite and modern police force; the core force to ensure good security and order right from the grassroots.
