Nghe An police ensure absolute security and safety for the 20th Provincial Party Congress

On the morning of October 1, at the venue of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Nghe An Provincial Police deployed a series of security and safety inspection and control measures. The checkpoints were strictly arranged, and the work of checking and inspecting fire prevention and fighting, network security, traffic... was carried out comprehensively. This is the final overall inspection step to prepare for the official event taking place from October 1 - 3.

As the main force, Nghe An Police has identified this as the key political task of the entire force in 2025. Right from the beginning of the year, under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee, and the leaders of the Provincial Police have directed the entire force to develop and implement a master plan to absolutely ensure security and safety for the Congress.

Police units and localities proactively grasp the situation, promptly advise on handling emerging issues, and prevent early and remotely potential factors that cause insecurity and disorder. The work of reviewing and managing areas and subjects is widely deployed, especially in cyberspace and in key areas and fields related to national security.

On July 24, 2025, the Provincial Police issued Plan No. 1474 on "launching a peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order before, during and after party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party". Thereby, the police force has cleaned up the area, handled and neutralized risks from the grassroots.

Many plans and scenarios for protecting the Congress were developed in detail, with the motto of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities". From the Congress area, the delegates' accommodation, to important projects in the area, all were assigned to strict protection. Forces such as Mobile Police, Traffic Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue, etc. were mobilized to the maximum, organized training and many drills to effectively handle all situations.

In addition, the management of residence, foreigners and strangers coming to the area has been tightened. The provincial police and the police of communes and wards simultaneously inspected conditional service businesses such as motels, hotels, karaoke bars, internet spots, etc. to promptly detect and prevent violations.

Nghe An police also increased coordination in disseminating laws and mobilizing people to actively participate in the movement of the entire people to protect national security, creating a solid people's security posture.
