11 SHB.Da Nang players suffer from food poisoning

Coach Le Huynh Duc said: Initially, only two players, Nguyen Minh Phuong and Phan Thanh Hung, had symptoms of stomachache and diarrhea, but when they arrived in Vinh City, the next 9 players, Nguyen Ngoc Linh, Nguyen Canh Lam, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Luu Quoc Loc, Pham Van Thach, Nguyen Nguyen Ngoc, Vo The Sang, Tran Minh Phuong, and Doan Hong Son, all had symptoms of food poisoning.
Faced with that situation, this afternoon (April 13), the leadership of SHB.Da Nang team coordinated with SLNA Club to bring 11 players to Cua Dong General Hospital (Vinh City) for treatment.

Doctor Dau Cong Hieu, who directly examined the players, said: Before being hospitalized, the players showed signs of food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea). After receiving IV fluids to prevent dehydration, the players' health gradually stabilized, and many of them were able to get up and walk normally. However, according to Doctor Hieu, in the next few days, these players will not have full physical strength after this food poisoning.
Present at the hospital, Mr. Ho Van Chiem - Executive Director of SLNA Club worked with the leadership of Cua Dong General Hospital and requested the hospital to create the best conditions for health care for SHB.Da Nang players. In the afternoon of the same day, SLNA Club leaders also visited and encouraged SHB.Da Nang players.
In response to this incident, the Vinh Stadium Organizing Committee and SHB.Da Nang football team have sent a report to the Vietnam Football Federation asking for their opinion on whether to continue or postpone tomorrow's match.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Coordinator of Vietnam Football Federation said: tonight, the Federation will send people to come and review the situation to make a decision about tomorrow's match.
