116,304 policy beneficiaries in Nghe An received gifts from the President
On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2011), the President sent gifts to policy beneficiaries nationwide. The gift for the representative of the martyrs' relatives was 200,000 VND, the gift for seriously wounded and sick soldiers, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and relatives of martyrs was 400,000 VND.
(Baonghean) -On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2011), the President sent gifts to policy beneficiaries nationwide. The gift for the representative of the martyrs' relatives was 200,000 VND, the gift for seriously wounded and sick soldiers, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and relatives of martyrs was 400,000 VND.
Accordingly, in Nghe An, 111,775 people received gifts of 200,000 VND and 4,529 people received gifts of 400,000 VND from the President. Currently, Nghe An province has delivered all these gifts to the recipients.
Promoting the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province have focused on implementing well the work of “Repaying gratitude”, helping war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs and families with meritorious services to the revolution in economic development, building gratitude houses, and taking care of heroic Vietnamese mothers. To celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day this year, Nghe An province continues to promote the movement to build a Gratitude Fund; establish a delegation to visit and present gifts to typical war invalids and martyrs’ relatives in 20 urban districts, care for, renovate and offer incense at martyrs’ cemeteries in the province.
