120 athletes participate in the football tournament of Nghe An driving training facilities

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 11, in Vinh City, Nghe An Department of Transport held the opening ceremony of the amateur football tournament for driver training and testing facilities in the province.

This year's tournament brings together 8 teams with 120 athletes.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ha - Chairman of the Nghe An Transport Industry Union said: The football tournament for driving training establishments in the province aims to enhance the exchange of experiences in driver training of the establishments, while creating a healthy playground for the sports movement in general and football in particular. This football tournament is a testament to solidarity, noble sportsmanship, and unanimity for the cause of continuing and developing the Nghe An Transport Industry.

This is the 4th year the Football Tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20) has been organized by the Department of Transport in the driver training and testing facilities.

This year's tournament brings together 8 teams with 120 athletes, representing training and testing facilities in Nghe An province, including: Driver Training Center of Nghe An Automobile Transport Joint Stock Company; Road Transport Vocational Training Center - Automobile Transport Joint Stock Company No. 5; PTS Nghe Tinh Driver Training Center; River and Sea Road Motor Vehicle Training Center; Driver Training Center of Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense; Nghe An Road Motor Vehicle Testing Center; Driver Training Center of Central Development Investment Joint Stock Company and Driver Training Center of Vinh An Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the match took place between the team of Nghe Tinh PTS Vocational Training Center and the Vocational Training Center of Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense.

The tournament will take place from November 11-17. The teams will be divided into 2 groups to compete in a round-robin format. After that, the 4 teams with the highest scores in the 2 groups will enter the next round to compete for the First, Second, and Third prizes./.
