According to AFP, this year's "white dinner" took place in a public area between the Tuileries garden and the Palais Royal. As with previous times, the location of the "white dinner" was only announced at the last minute.
Born in 1988, the "white dinner" is an unsanctioned event that still takes place every year and is increasingly spreading around the world.
To participate in this event, you need to follow the strict rules of the organizers: register and pay the fee, then wear all white.
Also, you must eat quickly when the food is served. Similarly, you must clean everything up before midnight, leaving nothing behind, including trash.
The "white dinner" has now spread to other cities such as New York, Montreal, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Cape Town, but the event in Paris is always the most anticipated and attracts the most attendees.
