130 works are displayed at the photo exhibition 'Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's teachings'

On the afternoon of October 27, in Vinh city, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a summary, award ceremony and opening ceremony of the Nghe An News - Art Photography Contest 2019 - 2020 with the theme"Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's words".

Attending the ceremony were comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh -Member of the Provincial Party Committee,Director of Department of Culture and Sports.Also attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units; members of the Organizing Committee, the Jury and authors participating in the contest.

Launched on May 19, 2019, the 2019 - 2020 "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's teachings" photo contest was organized by the Provincial Cultural Center in coordination with the Nghe An Journalists Association to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birth.President Ho Chi Minhand major holidays in 2019 - 2020, welcoming the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress and looking forward to the 13th National Party Congress, celebrating the 990th anniversary of the Nghe An name.

After one year of launching, the Organizing Committee received nearly 300 works from 31 authors participating in the contest, including professional and amateur photographers in Nghe An province.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the works participating in the contest vividly represented all aspects of life, from economics, politics to culture and society of Nghe An province with diverse and rich perspectives and forms of expression. In particular, the authors promptly reflected on hot current issues such as room,fight against Covid-19, marine economic development, security, order and social safety issues...

Through the contest, the Organizing Committee selected 130 works to display at the exhibition "Nghe An following Uncle Ho's teachings". The exhibition photos depicted and brought to viewers an overview of the country and people of Nghe An on the path of innovation and integration; reflecting the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An in the fields of economy, politics, culture, security and defense.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee selected 13 best works to award 3 Second Prizes (“Phu Dien rice paper specialty” by Tran Canh Yen; “Michio spirulina production at HIDUMI PHARMA Quynh Luu Green Science Joint Stock Company” by Tran Thanh Yen; “Firmly maintaining the border fortress” by Tu Thanh), 4 Third Prizes (“New product” by Le Quang Dung; “For the distant voyage” by Nguyen Trung Kien; “Ready to smash all sabotage plots” by Nguyen Ngoc Cuong), “Green uniformed teacher” by Dau Hong Son and 6 Encouragement Prizes.
