15 Vietnamese historical and cultural artifacts on display in the US

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has allowed five museums including An Giang Museum, Dong Thap Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts and Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture to bring artifacts to display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, USA.

Time to bring artifacts from March 13 and bring artifacts back to Vietnam before August 25.

An Giang Museum donated three artifacts, Dong Thap Museum donated one artifact, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History donated five artifacts, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts donated one artifact, and Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture donated five artifacts.

The museums are responsible for coordinating with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, USA to organize the lending of artifacts and organize the exhibition and introduction of artifacts in accordance with the agreement signed between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, USA on organizing the exhibition "Early Southeast Asia: Hindu-Buddhist sculpture from the fifth to the eighth century."

Museums are responsible for carrying out procedures during the process of packaging, transporting artifacts and carrying out procedures for temporary export and re-import of artifacts according to signed agreements and relevant legal regulations; at the same time, reporting the results of bringing artifacts abroad for display to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before September 10./.
