15 countries participate in the "Speed Trident" exercise in Ukraine
On September 15, the international military exercise "Rapid Trident 2014" led by the US took place in the city of Lvov (Ukraine) in the context of the ceasefire agreement that the government army and the forces demanding federalization in Eastern Ukraine have implemented for the past 10 days.

The exercise, which is scheduled to last from September 15 to 26, will involve nearly 1,300 soldiers from 15 countries. In addition to the armed forces of Ukraine and the United States, there will also be soldiers from the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Spain, Georgia, Canada, etc. Washington alone plans to send 200 soldiers to participate in the "Speed Trident" exercise in Ukraine.
According to the plan, within the framework of the exercise, soldiers from the countries will perfect their skills in clearing homemade bombs, patrolling and escorting.
In the context of escalating tensions with Russia over the crisis in Ukraine, the US and its Western allies still decided to hold the "Speed Trident" exercise in this Eastern European country.
The exercise was previously scheduled to take place in mid-April, but had to be canceled due to intense fighting in eastern Ukraine.
On September 5, the government army and the federalization forces reached a ceasefire agreement. However, both sides have since repeatedly accused each other of breaking the agreement./.
