153 works participated in the Self-made Teaching Aids Contest at High School Level

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 9, the Department of Education and Training organized the 2014 Self-made Teaching Aids Contest for High School Levels. Many leaders and teachers of high schools in the province attended.

This is a contest held every 4 years with the purpose of motivating and encouraging teachers to design and manufacture their own teaching aids to contribute to improving the quality of teaching. At the same time, it maintains the creativity and positivity in improving teachers' teaching methods.

The contest had 253 self-made teaching aids sent to the organizing committee to compete. After the preliminary round, 153 best works from 33 high schools in the area were selected to participate in the provincial final round. These are excellent works selected from the self-made teaching aid competitions at the grassroots level. All the works entered into the contest were used effectively by schools in their lessons and were highly popular. Thereby, helping schools save money, overcoming the current situation of lack of teaching equipment and degradation in many high schools.

The contest is held for two days, at the end of the contest, the special prize-winning items will be selected to introduce to the National Contest. Good models will be replicated for many schools to apply in teaching and learning.
