159 preschool teachers compete to select excellent teachers at the provincial level

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 13, in Vinh city, Nghe An Department of Education and Training organized the second round - the practical competition on organizing educational activities, selecting excellent preschool teachers at the provincial level for the 2013-2014 school year. Participating in the competition were 159 teachers who passed the first round - the competency test.

Round 1 was organized by the Department on January 4, through a written test to test teachers' understanding of knowledge of child care and education; professional skills, pedagogical skills and policies, guidelines, and orientations for innovation in preschool education. In round 1, 177 teachers participated; 10/21 districts, cities, and towns had 100% of teachers entering round 2, including: Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Cua Lo, Nghi Loc, Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Que Phong (mountainous districts).

In this second round, each participating teacher must practice two educational activities, one of which is chosen by the teacher (in terms of the field of activity and the age of the children) and one of which is determined by the Examination Council by random drawing.

The exam will take place continuously for 5 days and will conclude on January 18.
