According to the synthesis ofDepartment of Education and TrainingUp to now, 16 districts, cities and towns in the province have completed the vaccination of high school students with a total of more than 99,000 students receiving the first dose, reaching over 99%. According to the Department of Health's assessment, the vaccination in the whole province has been carried out in accordance with the correct procedure, ensuring safety. The number of students who have not been vaccinated accounts for a very small percentage of about 1%, mainly students with underlying diseases or who are not eligible for vaccination in this phase for many personal reasons.

Currently, there are 5 localities that have not yetvaccinationThese are Ky Son, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Que Phong and some students of Thai Hoa town. The main reason is that in the first phase, Nghe An did not have enough vaccines for students.

Discussing this issue further, Mr. Tran Minh Tue - Deputy DirectorNghe An Department of Healthsaid: Vaccination for students will soon be re-implemented because according to the plan, in the next 2 days, 21,060 doses of vaccine will arrive in Nghe An and the industry will soon transfer to the remaining localities to complete the Covid-19 vaccination for high school students and continue to vaccinate secondary school students in the province.
