160 students participate in the Primary School Math Olympiad
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 25, at Nghi Phu 1 Primary School, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the Primary School Math Olympiad for children, school year 2012-2013.
This year's competition has 27 teams with 160 students from 20 districts, cities and towns. In particular, the districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Thanh Chuong, Nghi Loc each have 2 teams participating. The participants are 5th grade students, gifted and love Math, selected from the district and town level competition.
The contest attracted 27 teams with 160 contestants.
The teams will compete in two parts: Individual competition and team relay competition. In addition, students will also participate in knowledge exchange in primary school subjects: Vietnamese, Math, English, History, Music, Science...
Instructions for candidates participating in the individual competition
The contest is a useful playground for 5th grade students to show their talent in Mathematics, creating opportunities for them to exchange and learn, while promoting the emulation movement "Teach well, learn well" in schools.
Through the contest, 12 candidates with excellent results will be selected to compete in the National Math Olympiad for Children held in Vinh Phuc next June.
The contest takes place on April 25 and 26.
