17 projects awarded at the Vocational Education Startup Ideas Competition
On the afternoon of September 27, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the Closing Ceremony and awarded prizes to the Startup Ideas Competition for vocational education students.
Also attending were comrade Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, representatives of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, Department of Industry and Trade and a number of related departments and branches.

This is the third time Nghe An province has organized this event.Vocational education student startup competition.This year's competition has 25 projects of 74 contestants and groups of contestants from 8 colleges and intermediate schools in the area, selected from 88 projects of more than 330 contestants and groups of contestants through the grassroots competition.
The highlight of this competition is projects in many different fields such as: Business startups, applied technology, agriculture, health, commercial business...

After 2 days of competition, the jury selected 6 projects of contestants and contestant groups to win first, second and third prizes, and 11 projects of contestants and contestant groups to win encouragement prizes.
First Prize:+ Blue Jeans project - recycled fashion accessories of Bac Nghe An College of Economics and Technology.
Second Prize:+ Tra Lan Herbal Chicken Farm Project of Nghe An Ethnic Boarding College and Western Nghe An Economic - Technical College....
Third Prize:+Project: Integrating electrolysis plate into RO water purifier to create alkaline ionized water of Vietnam - Germany College Nghe An +Project: Ngoc Hien cloth bag of Industrial - Handicraft Economics College.
+Project: Mobile car rescue and repair service of Bac Nghe An College of Economics and Technology.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Ho Thi Chau Loan expressed her joy that this year's competition received attention and investment from vocational training institutions and attracted a large number of students to participate and follow. In addition, the quality of projects and startup ideas this year has been improved, especially in the secondary school sector.
The ideas and projects are diverse in terms of professions in many different fields, focusing on solving social problems; demonstrating innovation, creativity and professionalism; some projects are commercialized from scientific research results of students.

The success of the startup idea competition for vocational education students not only creates a common playground for creative startups for students but also helps them form and foster the entrepreneurial spirit.
This has contributed to changing the awareness of society about vocational training and entrepreneurship, encouraging young people to confidently choose vocational education to meet the human resource needs of the province. From this competition, many ideas, projects, aspirations, and concerns have been opened up to realize the startups of students and especially the luggage for students to continue to implement in the process of establishing a career and starting a business.

After this competition, the leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs requested that vocational training institutions with projects selected for the national competition actively direct and seek the opinions of startup experts to continue investing, editing, and perfecting quality projects to participate in the 2024 National Startup Ideas Competition for Vocational Education Students.
At the same time, we hope that businesses and investment funds will always pay attention and continue to support projects so that schools can compete to innovate and create feasible products, ideas and projects with high applicability. From there, we will create motivation to promote the spirit of learning and training in vocational education in all sectors and fields.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning projects. In addition, collective prizes were awarded, including the first prize to Bac Nghe Economic and Technical College; the second prize to Western Nghe An Economic and Technical College and the third prize to Nghe An Ethnic Boarding College.
