18 early election teams of Con Cuong district were successful.

(Baonghean) -Due to the difficult terrain and transportation, the mountainous border district of Con Cuong (Nghe An) has 18 election teams with 4,696 voters in 5 remote border communes who can vote early.

These are the communes: Mon Son (2 groups, 380 voters); Chau Khe (2 groups, 683 voters); Cam Lam (2 groups, 517 voters); Thach Ngan (4 groups, 590 voters); and Binh Chuan commune (8 groups, 2,526 voters) which will hold early elections on May 20.

Thanks to the good preparation work, the Election Steering Committee assigned staff to propaganda groups, mobilizing voters to vote early, in accordance with the law, ensuring safety. By 13:00 on May 20, 2011, 100% of the 18 groups had participated in the election. Currently, the groups are completing the vote counting minutes to send to the District Election Committee in accordance with the law.

It is known that the remaining 98 election teams have completed preparations for the election day on May 22, 2011.
