Two grassroots youth union secretaries of Nghe An were considered for the Ly Tu Trong Award.

(Baonghean.vn)- According to the Provincial Youth Union Organizing Committee, among the 85 young faces receiving the Ly Tu Trong Award this year, Nghe An is honored to have 2 grassroots youth union secretaries considered for the award.

They are Mr. Pham Khac Bien - Member of the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee - Secretary of Dien Chau District Youth Union and Mr. Nguyen Van Thao - Secretary of Mon Son Commune Youth Union, Con Cuong District.

The Ly Tu Trong Award is a noble award presented by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Union on March 26 every year to honor grassroots Youth Union secretaries, grassroots Youth Union branch secretaries and exemplary Youth Union members, those with especially outstanding achievements in studying, working, Youth Union work and youth movements.

In 2016, from 228 applications from 67 provinces, cities and affiliated unions, the Award Selection Council selected 85 outstanding delegates to receive this noble award. Of which, Nghe An Provincial Union submitted 4 applications and 2 delegates were selected.

The 2016 Ly Tu Trong Award Ceremony is scheduled to be held by the Central Youth Union on March 25 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi) on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2016).
