Two sisters drowned to death
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 22, Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District (Nghe An) said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of two biological sisters.
They are Tran Thi Duyen (born 1999) and Tran Thi Tham (2001), daughters of Tran Thi Xuan (52 years old), residing in Yen Quang hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).

Mr. Thanh said that at around 3:00 p.m., 7 students from Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district invited each other to go swimming in the sea in hamlet 4, Dien Thanh commune, Dien Chau district.
After bathing for a while, 5 of the children got out of the water, while Duyen and Tham were still bathing. Unfortunately, they encountered a whirlpool and both sisters drowned.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities and local people used fishing boats to search for the bodies of the two children. However, they have not yet been found.
It is known that Mrs. Xuan's family situation is very difficult, her husband passed away a long time ago, her eldest son is currently working as a hired fisherman at sea.
