Couple died tragically in locked house
Finding the house locked, the neighbor looked inside and saw Mr. Son and his wife lying motionless on the floor.
On the morning of January 8, Dong Nai Provincial Police continued to conduct forensic examinations and investigate a suspected murder and robbery case that occurred in Xuan Thien Commune, Thong Nhat District. The victims were an elderly couple who died in a locked house.

According to initial information, on the evening of January 7, after many times of not being able to contact them, the neighbors of Mr. Nguyen Van Son and his wife, Mrs. Lam Ngoc Diep (both 58 years old, residing in Xuan Thien commune, Thong Nhat district) came to their house and discovered that the front door of the house was locked from the inside but the back door was locked from the outside. Looking inside, the neighbors were shocked to see Mr. Son and Mrs. Diep lying motionless on the floor, so they immediately called the police.
Upon receiving the news, the Thong Nhat District Police arrived at the scene to verify the incident. After unlocking the house, they discovered that both people were dead, with wounds on both victims' heads; the cabinets had been broken into, and there was a lot of disturbance in the house, but the TV was still playing. The victims' house was located in a deserted field area.
Initially, the authorities determined that this was likely a murder and robbery case, with the victims dying on the evening of January 6.
