23 comrades were appointed to join the Executive Committee of the Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030
On the morning of August 19, the Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the Congress were members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee: Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Le Tien Tri - Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; and representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, agencies and branches.
Quynh Thang commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the two mountainous communes of Quynh Thang and Tan Thang of the old Quynh Luu district. Quynh Thang commune Party Committee has 534 members, operating in 29 affiliated Party organizations, of which 53 are Thai ethnic group members.
During the past term, the Party Committees of the communes have closely followed the direction of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, promoted the spirit of solidarity and consensus to overcome difficulties, proactively and flexibly implemented the tasks of socio-economic development and achieved important results. The average economic growth rate reached 9.7%. The economic structure shifted in the right direction.
In particular, attracting key industries, prioritizing the development of clean and sustainable agriculture by building specialized areas for key crops with high economic value such as pineapple, sugarcane, acacia and raising specialty animals. The average income per capita reaches nearly 60 million VND/year.
National defense and security are maintained; social order and safety are ensured; Party building and political system building in special regions are given attention.
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and contributing to supplementing and perfecting the directions, goals and key solutions of the Party Committee of the commune in the new term.
The congress set out 12 main targets, 3 key programs and 3 breakthroughs to promote socio-economic development. By 2030, Quynh Thang will strive to become a fairly average commune in Nghe An province from a poor mountainous commune.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee, Government and People of Quynh Thang commune in the past term. Especially the efforts of the Party Committee and Government in shifting the economic structure, helping farmers in the commune in general and 578 Thai ethnic households to boldly invest in developing livestock and crop farming to escape poverty sustainably.
To achieve the goal of building Quynh Thang into a fairly average commune of the province, the Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission emphasized 5 important contents for the Party Committee, Government and People of Quynh Thang commune to be determined to implement. In particular, focusing on reviewing and adjusting the planning in accordance with the new development space to create a basis for allocating investment resources from the budget and attracting social resources to build synchronous infrastructure; Paying attention to the orientation of green development planning, sustainable development and the ability to connect inter-commune, inter-regional development, and chain production linkage.
It is necessary to exploit the region's advantages to the fullest to continue economic transformation, develop services, apply high technology in production and deep processing of clean agricultural products, aiming at the production of high-quality goods for export to increase economic value for farmers.
In addition, continue to effectively implement tasks in the fields of health and education, mobilize investment resources, upgrade school facilities, and meet the needs of teaching and health care for the people. In particular, pay attention to children and ethnic minority people to have full access to social security services.
At the congress, delegates approved the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee of Quynh Thang commune for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 23 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Hai was appointed as Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the Commune People's Council.
The delegates unanimously approved the Congress Resolution 100%, demonstrating the political determination to put the resolution into practice. With the spirit of solidarity, democracy, discipline, creativity and development, the 1st Congress of Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030 was a great success./.
