On the morning of December 10, the delegation attended the incense offering ceremony at the Bac Son Heroes and Martyrs Memorial and the ceremony to report achievements to President Ho Chi Minh.

With the slogan of action "Vietnamese youth are patriotic, creative, volunteer, integrated and developed", the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2019 - 2024 will focus on evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, the movement "I love my Fatherland" through propaganda, dissemination, bringing the movement to the youth, mobilizing youth to compete in training, mobilizing youth to compete in dedication, mobilizing youth to live responsibly; evaluating the work of building and developing the organization, expanding the solidarity front, gathering youth; successes, limitations, causes and lessons learned...

On the afternoon of December 10, at the first working session, delegates will listen to Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, give a thematic information on a number of issues guiding Vietnam's development to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
