250 delegates attended the 4th Congress of Nghe An Cooperative Alliance

The Provincial Cooperative Union has just held a conference to deploy the plan to organize the 4th Congress, approved the draft reports of the 3rd Executive Committee and awarded craft village recognition certificates in 2010 to 19 craft villages.

The conference unanimously elected 250 delegates from member units to attend the 4th Congress of Nghe An Cooperative Alliance. At the same time, it set out the common goals that the cooperative sector needs to focus on directing in the next 5 years: Promoting the results of collective economic development after years of implementing Resolution 5 of the Central Committee (9th term), continuing to innovate and develop to improve the efficiency of cooperative economy, and thoroughly overcome current shortcomings and weaknesses.

Strengthen and strongly transform the activities of cooperatives according to the 2011 amended Law on Cooperatives. Develop various types of cooperatives and cooperative groups in the direction of diversifying types and fields of operation. Strive for the collective economy in general and cooperatives in particular to have rapid and sustainable development by 2015.
