250 outstanding faces will attend the Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Nghe An Province
On September 26, in Vinh city, the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Nghe An province will take place in 2024, with the participation of 250 delegates.
Congress of Delegatesethnic minorityThe 4th Nghe An Provincial People's Council - 2024 is organized with the aim of continuing to summarize and evaluate the achievements and results of implementing ethnic work and ethnic policies in the period of 2019 - 2024, affirming the consistent policy of the Party and State on ethnic issues and great national unity throughout the process of leading the revolution.

The Congress will continue to affirm and recognize the great contributions of ethnic minorities to the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and international integration. At the same time, it will honor, commend, and reward outstanding collectives and individuals among ethnic minorities in the cause of building, integrating, developing, and defending the country in the period of 2019-2024.
The Congress is also a forum for exchange, study and sharing of experiences among ethnic groups, and at the same time a broad political and social activity aimed at raising awareness, consolidating trust and consensus among ethnic groups under the leadership of the Party.

The congress gathered 250 delegates, who wereexemplary, typical, representing ethnic minorities living in Nghe An province, with many achievements contributing to political stability, security - national defense, socio-economic development, ethnic solidarity, preservation and promotion of national cultural identity... are selected and honored from the grassroots.
Attending the Congress, delegates will hear reports assessing achievements and results of ethnic work, ethnic policies, infrastructure development,poverty reduction, new rural construction, models, production development projects, implementation of national target programs. Thereby, proposing mechanisms and policies for the development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the next period.
